Emergency Fiber Restoration · On-Call Capability
Every AFS on-call crew is built to carry a full week of hard-down response on a live carrier backbone — acknowledging dispatch within half an hour, working multiple concurrent outages, and holding one continuous thread of accountability no matter how many times the ticket changes hands on the client side.
Restoration time is only partly a splicing problem. Most of the clock is spent deciding what to do and finding out who is doing it. A contractor who removes that friction shortens the outage more than a faster fusion splicer ever will.
