Emergency Fiber Restoration · On-Call Capability

One crew. One on-call week. Every outage worked to resolution.

Every AFS on-call crew is built to carry a full week of hard-down response on a live carrier backbone — acknowledging dispatch within half an hour, working multiple concurrent outages, and holding one continuous thread of accountability no matter how many times the ticket changes hands on the client side.

Acknowledge and name the crewWithin 30 minutes of dispatch: confirmation, technicians' names and mobile numbers.
Report from the field, not the officeOTDR distances, GPS pins and photographs sent as they are taken — not summarized after a shift.

Restoration time is only partly a splicing problem. Most of the clock is spent deciding what to do and finding out who is doing it. A contractor who removes that friction shortens the outage more than a faster fusion splicer ever will.

Past Performance

Purpose-built for the most demanding environments.

Natural disasters, nuclear facilities, live hyperscale data centers and major metropolitan public safety systems.

New York, NY · Major-city public safety agencies

Redundant 911 Communications Facility

Fabricated and installed steel support structures and battery containment for a major metropolitan area's redundant 911 communications facility — hardened to sustain emergency communications during large-scale disasters.

Puerto Rico & USVI · Tier-1 national carrier

Hurricane Disaster Recovery

Restored cellular service under federally declared emergency conditions after catastrophic hurricane damage — damage assessment, full logistics, tower repair, equipment installation and commissioning.

NJ & Long Island, NY · Global OEM & regional utility

Statewide Comms Modernization

Primary civil contractor for full-scale modernization of a regional utility's enterprise communications — selected as the OEM's sole contractor on Long Island based on performance in New Jersey.

Northeast U.S. · Nuclear power operator

Nuclear Power Plant — Protected Area

Cleared rigorous nuclear background screening for protected-area work — structural tower upgrades, waveguide cable ladder installation and mission-critical telecom system upgrades.

Two major metros · Regional transit authorities

Metro Transit Radio Systems

Infrastructure upgrades across full transit networks — land clearing, fencing, concrete, shelter placement, electrical systems and new tower construction supporting public safety operations.

Northern Virginia · Hyperscale cloud provider
